The primary way to add a map to your trip is by ensuring your plans include specific location data. When you forward confirmation emails to plans@tripit.com, the TripIt system parses the data. If the system detects a recognized venue—such as a Hilton hotel, the Louvre Museum, or JFK Airport—it assigns a geo-tag to that specific plan item.
Enter the location details (name or address) to create the custom entry. On the Website Log in to the TripIt website Click on the trip you wish to edit. Select the option from the list.
