Taken Movie Index --39-link--39- ((new)) Jun 2026

Scholars and experts define film as a powerful communication tool that uses technical and symbolic codes (sound and images) to convey messages. The index of a typical film write-up (like those for Blade Runner ) usually includes: Synopsis and Plot Production and Casting Themes and Style (e.g., tragedy, farce, or noir design) Cultural Impact and Legacy "particular set of skills" speech or a comparison with other films in this thriller index

Ultimately, the Taken Index is best understood as a cultural artifact of the post-9/11 action genre. It reflects a primal fantasy: that a single, detached individual, unencumbered by bureaucratic red tape or moral compromise, can navigate a globalized underworld and restore order through righteous violence. Liam Neeson’s weary, stoic performance transformed him into an unlikely senior action star, spawning a wave of imitators (“The Grey,” “Non-Stop”). But the franchise’s diminishing returns prove that the formula works only once. The first Taken remains a tightly coiled spring of tension and release. To revisit its sequels is to watch that spring unwind into redundancy. The index, then, is a monument to a perfect, problematic, and unrepeatable piece of pulp cinema. 1. My friend was trying to add herself to my Fitbit.
Guess what she added all her friends!!!
Owen to. And blocked EACH one of her friends.
I don’t want to block her friends I want them off my phone!!!

    • Hi Peggy,

It sounds like she added herself and friends to your phone’s Contacts app instead of the Fitbit app.

Once contacts get added to the phone’s contacts app, rather than block them, I suggest you open the Contacts app and delete them. It will be tedious since you need to do this one by one.

Now, to add friends via the Fitbit app. Open the app and tap the Community tab at the bottom. Then tap the upper tab for Friends and choose Add Friends. Instead of Connect Contacts, at the top choose either email or username (if you know it.) Then enter the email or username of your friend and send them an invite (they must accept the invite to make the connection.)
