Directed (or perhaps un-directed) by an anonymous collective operating out of São Paulo and Mexico City, Estado Impuro rejects the very notion of a fixed master copy. The “72 better” refers to the 72nd generation of a digital file that has been intentionally corrupted, re-encoded, and degraded across peer-to-peer networks.
