Battlefield 4 | Origin Is Not Installed Error

Upon execution of Battlefield 4 , the game initialization process halts, presenting a dialog box stating that the launcher software (Origin) is not installed. This occurs even when the user has recently installed the EA App or has an existing installation of Origin.
