This paper examines the emergence and popularity of "Theth Nagpuri Song DJ" remixes within the context of Jharkhand’s regional music industry. "Theth," meaning pure or authentic, represents a movement to preserve the cultural roots of the Nagpuri language (Sadri). However, the contemporary consumption of this music is dominated by "DJ remixes"—high-tempo, electronically modified versions designed for dance floors.
